Batteries:
The biggest battery: 83 kWh (550km WLTP ), available 10/2020, will charge with up to 125 kW DC and 11 kW AC
The smaller batteries: 49 kWh (330km WLTP) and 62 kWh (450km WLTP) will charge with up to 100 kW DC and 11 kW AC .
All ranges are currently VW estimates and not official yet.
All batteries have active cooling and heating. Heatpump is optional (might be standard in bigger batteries or higher trims)
A/C and heatpump:
The CO2 based A/C will only be available in combination with the heatpump. If you get a configuration without heatpump, you'll get a normal A/C with R1234yf. As a reminder: A CO2 heatpump will work in much lower temperatures than usual.
2 Headlight upgrade options:
1) LED Headlight with "Bad Weather" function (no idea what the difference to the normal LED headlights is)
2) Matrix LED Headlights
Wireless Carplay is available
Not much else is known about the Infotainment System.
Except that it is based on a new vw.OSoperating system and it will allow over the air updates for the car.
As mentioned in other topics, there will be a "1st Edition" which can be preordered. What leaked out so far:
It will be available in 3 configuration variants: Cool, Style and WoW
All of them with a 62 kWh battery.
Colors: Black, Grey, White and Green
They will have some unique styling traits, reserved just for the 1st Edition.
And last but not least, VW has a Start Of Production countdown in their Intranet, counting down to 4th November 2019:
