Hyundai slutar sälja bilar som bara går på bensin/diesel i Norge från 1 januari 2021.

At Hyundai Motor Norway, product and PR manager Øyvind Knudsen confirms that from 1 January 2021, the importer will only market rechargeable, battery-electric and hydrogen-electric cars in this country.

Only electric from New Year

– The government’s proposal for the state budget makes us confident that our strategy is correct. Hyundai already has an electric car share of about 94 percent in Norway, and when we launch the electric family SUV Ioniq 5 early next year, we will strengthen the position of the electric car another notch, says Øyvind Knudsen to Broom.

He emphasizes that electric cars are an important future investment at Hyundai.
