The electric pick-up truck is also expected to come with V4 supercharger.
Tesla Cybertruck was unveiled in November 2019 and it became instantly very popular. While a lot of that had to do with the glass break fiasco at the event,
the Cybertruck also garnered attention because of its futuristic design which seemed straight out of a sci-fi show. And then were some impressive performance
specs backing up the electric pick-up truck -- up to 805 km driving range on a single charge and 0 to 96.5 km/h in 2.9 seconds. All these, and an
affordable booking amount of $100, made the Cybertruck so powerful that the company received over 2 lakh orders for this all-electric
pick-up truck in just three days. This is despite the fact that Tesla will start Cybertruck's deliveries in 2021.
Tesla Cybertruck marks the electric carmaker entry in the passenger utility vehicle segment. But along with that, it is also likely to come with support for a new series of Tesla superchargers.
The word on the street is that the Cybertruck could be compatible with V4 fast chargers with power rating of over 250 kW. This level of charging could juice up the battery for
substantially long journey. For reference, the current V3 Tesla Superchargers are rated at 250 kW and can juice up a Tesla car's battery to travel up to 120.7 km in just five minutes of charging.
