Chinese Tesla Model 3 at slashed prices for Christmas.

Newly arrived from the Shanghai Gigafactory, the Chinese Tesla Model 3 are available at discounted prices on the manufacturer’s website.
At Tesla, it’s Christmas before its time! Produced in the Shanghai Gigafactory, the Chinese versions are now available in Europe where the manufacturer offers them at ultra-competitive prices.

To access it, there is a little trick that the Tesla France teams have given us: do not go to the online configurator, but go to the list of available vehicles where there are several dozen copies. Please note: only the SR + versions come from the Chinese factory. Most are offered at € 45,040 with a bonus deducted, or around € 3,000 less than a 2021 version ordered via the configurator.

30k under 2021:orna verkar vara samma som har varit på de Kinesiska lagerbilarna i Sverige ett tag, så jag tror inte att man ska hoppas på ytterligare sänkningar. Det vore ju najs dock

Du verkar få din väldigt tidigt! Vår leverans 11:e december blev ombokad till 20:e för att bilen inte skulle hinna komma till den 11:e. Ska bli intressant att se hur du upplever bilen och om du får dubbelglas fram.

Det var tidigaste datumet jag hört i Sverige.
Vet att de börjar leverera i Tyskland 5/12.

I live in the Netherlands and I am collecting my Chinese SR+ tomorrow (Friday 4th) Does anyone know the exact specifications for the car? It is confusing to me if any of the 2021 specification will be present? I guess I will find out tomorrow

I collected my SR+ in Amsterdam today.

Basically its the late 2020 spec with the LFP battery pack. USB C but no doubled glazed glass or any other 2021 specs (a little disappointed about the glass but I already presumed the rest.)

I supercharged from about 18% - 80% in 1hr 20 was getting 264km/hr at the start but that levelled to about 184 at 35% and then to about 175 through 50% and at 80% i was getting 133 and when I unplugged it dropped to 70 for some reason.

I'm not sure how that compares to the none LFP version.

To be honest the charging speed was really slow, I was expecting about half the time according to a Chinese test and that was already slow.
But was the battery warm when you arrived?
Did you set the Supercharger in the navigator so it preheated?

Does the var have the new headlight and the new steering wheel?

The car pre-heated for the 10km drive to the supercharger.

Steering wheel is the old style with the rubber dials.

No idea how to check the headlights

Note that he is charging on Ionity, which can give up to 250kW.

A normal Tesla V2 charger is maxing out on around 145kW if you are not sharing stalls with another car. That requires a warm
battery though.

Well, first of all your battery was not warm in 10 minutes, which is most likely a big factor.

If you’d get around 100kW on low SoC - you still have a faster charging car than most non-Tesla EV’s. The car is also one of the most efficient, so it should give you pretty short charging stops anyway.

It most likely charges faster than my old Model S anyway.

Next - if you charge at home, it doesn’t have any effect.

With an OK warm battery I normally do a charge from 20% to 80%, on my longe range (the larger battery pack version) model 3 AWD, in about 21-24 minutes on a 150 kW chargingstation (both Tesla and non-Tesla).

Ok, so you maximum was 264km/hr, its about 36kW.... Im woundering how fast (or slow?) it will be with a pre-heated battery!

Om man läser tyskarnas rapporter så verkar inte alla fått nya strålkastare, verkar vara skillnad beroende på tillverkningsdatum, runt 20/10 tror jag det blev nya strålkastare.
Många rapporterar långsam SuC, 20-30 kW. En förare fick 80 kW efter att ha kört 100 km med förbrukning över 200, så batteriet behöver bli varmt för att laddas någorlunda snabbt.

Kuriosa är att tyskarna verkar ha fått 12 mån premium connectivity trots att det borde vara 30 dagar.

Nu har jag inte läst igenom tråden (min 25 år gamla skoltyska är lite knackig), men de kurvor som låg i där såg inte jätteimponerande ut. Inte så mycket snabbare än mitt nerfade 85-pack, men man kanske inte ska dra alltför stora växlar än.

Finns ju en möjlighet att man vill samla på sig mer data innan man vågar släppa på mer hastighet.

Håller nog dock på en eventuell beställning tills det finns mer fakta på bordet.
