Electric SsangYong Musso due from 2023, 1100km range possible.
SsangYong could be working on an electric version of its familiar Musso ute as soon as next year – potentially offering up to 1100km of range – if the Korean car maker's new owner gets its way.
The publication claims Edison Motors "plans" to install a battery pack with a capacity between 110kWh and 220kWh – which the company "expects" will enable between 550 and 1100 kilometres of claimed electric driving range.

Lucid Air finns på riktigt har EPA på 837 km vilket väl borde innebära wltp runt 1000 km och nedc en bit över 1000 km? Hoppas konkurrenterna snart också är där.

BYD närmar sig också 1.000 km i räckvidd, med modeller som klarar 966 km.

The BYD Seal (BYD Atto 4 overseas) offers RWD and AWD drivetrain layouts and comes with three power configurations: 150 kW, 180 kW, and the dual-motor set-up with 160 kW front + 230 kW rear motors. It will also get a 112 mph (180 kmph) top speed. The highest specification BYD vehicles on the e-platform 3.0 can go from 0 to 60 mph (0-97 kmph) in just 2.9 seconds and achieve a range of up to 600 miles (966 km). Moreover, thanks to an operating voltage of 800 volts, they can provide a range of 90 miles (145 km) in just 5 minutes of charging.

The ES7 arrives as NIO’s fastest SUV to date.

NIO shared details of the ES7 in a press release following its online event held from China. The new SUV is the first to use NIO’s NT 2.0 Platform and the first to demonstrate the automaker’s “Design for AD” ethos.

The ES7’s exterior features a Shark Nose front fascia, distinct wheel arches, and “AirWing” taillights. We also learned some of the ES7 SUV’s performance specs:

0 to 100km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration in 3.9 seconds
100 to 0km/h braking within 33.9 meters
Air suspension standard on all ES7 variations
Drag coefficient as low as 0.263

150 kWh Ultralong Range Battery – 930 km (578 miles)

Additionally, the ES7 will arrive as one of the first certified passenger vehicles in China with the ability to tow a caravan or a trailer. The electric tow bar (optional add-on) has a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 kg (4,440 lb). Not only can the ES7 SUV supply power to towed equipment, but it can also support vehicle-to-load (V2L) discharging and “Camping Mode” to power outside devices.

Jag tror tvärt om att det är mindre batterier och omfattande laddinfrastruktur som är framtiden, kanske induktiva laddsträckor på vissa vägar som medger lhögintensiv laddning under färd.

Hur många laddstationer uppskattar du behövs i Sverige när alla 5 miljoner bilar är elbilar?

Fosssilbilar laddas på 5 minuter, på flertalet mackar, ändå har de (vissa iallafall) lång räckvidd. Så jag tror det behövs, att släpa runt på en hög vikt är ett problem som behövs lösas givetvis. men ganska säker på att batterier el motsvarande kommer bli bättre och lättare.
