Tesla Club Sweden

Hi ,

I met with an accident . Collision with moose. Fortunately Tesla saved us. Everyone's safe. No injuries.

The accident happened near Jokkmokk. I live in luleå. The nearest Tesla service is Umea. Currently the car is in workshop in Jokkmokk.

I have my insurance with Länsförsäkringar. LF says they are partnered with workshops near Luleå which is not Tesla.

Can anyone advice ? Anyone near Luleå area had similar experience could help with what should I need to do ?

Tesla doesn’t repair collision damage anyway.
Closest shop Tesla recommends is Härnösand/kramsfors or something.

If you get a shop in Luleå that Tesla accepts (if you still have ”vagnskadegaranti”) and you feel you can rely on, I guess this is good.

vagnskadegaranti is it with Tesla or Länsförsäkringar? The place I bought Tesla from, I bought an additional solid body insurance.

Vagnskadegaranti is an insurance that comes with cars in Sweden, covers part of the insurance of the car for the first three years since new. (Need to be sold in Sweden).


Check with the LF about where to get it fixed.

Just one more question,

Does Tesla have a say in where the insurance company does the work ? If a workshop in luleå basically can work with a Tesla which is in partner with LF. Does Tesla can say no ?

No, I’m pretty sure they can not.

But maybe as long as the vagnskadegaranti is valid, but thats not the case here.
