I och med MEB+ får ID4 bl.a. LFP-batterier, exteriör refresh, ny interiör liknande ID.Polo och sist men inte minst, nytt namn: ID.Tiguan

Besides the exterior facelift, it will also receive a new interior with more physical buttons (as shown in the ID Polo) and also a new structural battery pack, featuring VW's new unified cell, which will allow them to offer a cheaper version with LFP cells.
The ID.Tiguan is expected to make its official debut by the end of 2026, with sales kicking off in Europe sometime this year. The US will follow shortly after. According to the report, the ID.Tiguan will replace the current ID.4 at Volkswagen’s plant in Emden, Germany. Production is scheduled to run through 2031.
