Opinion on Trygg-Hansa behavior
Hi,
looking for some opinions and help about Trygg-Hansa behavior in my claim. I'll try to make a long story short.
Back in February I was rear-ended by a truck. The car was replaced by Tesla and TH with a smooth process (thanks also to a Tesla representative) but the issue started when I had to get back the money for the wrap I had on the car.
Although I sent video evidence of the fact (thanks Tesla cameras), TH took months to process and then decided it was not possible to assign responsibility since the other party version of the facts was different (they lied..). So after emails and phone calls, I discovered TH didn't even managed to look at the video evidence. After my obvious complains, they looked at the video and decided it was not my fault.
With my surprise, they said that TH is not responsible to reimburse the wrap cost but I should contact the other party insurance by myself and ask for a reimbursement.
How is that possible? I pay TH, they are the ones having all the communication with the other insurance, I pay for their service and now it's up to me to take care of the process?

Intressant fråga! Gäller över huvud taget försäkringen för "värdehöjande" åtgärder som foliering? Var kan man hitta villkoren för den vsg vi har från TH?

Below the reply I got from TH. Now, I can understand the policy is not covering the extra cost, the weird thing, for me, is that I need to take care of dealing with the other party insurance by myself!
"Please note that car damage guarantees do not apply to paint treatment. The guarantee applies to the car in a standard version, which means that the guarantor does not pay for paint treatment or the like.
So you must contact the counterparty company and request it on your own"

Odd. I had a car scrape my car when it was parked, and the owner of that car told me about it, so it's on their insurance. My insurance company ok'ed doing ceramic treatment on the repainted part, although that would not have been covered by my insurance if I would be at fault, for the same reasons that Trygg-Hansa states.
This was handled by Aktsam, which is owned by Trygg-Hansa, and it is normal procedure that you go only through your own insurance company, unless you only have liability insurance.

Hur hanterar de om man köpt till FSD eller acceleration boost? Ingår det?

Mycket trist att höra. Nu får andra styrka eller sänka mig, men tumregeln är att helförsäkring så tar ens försäkringsbolag hand om kommunikation med vållandes part, men halvförsäkring så får man sköra det själv. Jag vet inte vad som brukar gälla under 2års regeln, då vagnskadegarantin gäller.

Ring motpartens försäkringsbolag och hör efter hur du skall gå tillväga för att få ersättning.

Jag råkade (klumpigt) dra i mitt cykelställ på taket i carporten med resultat en trasig bakruta mm. Rent slarv och ingen annan att skylla på, tog det på vagnskada. Fick då veta att vagnskadeförsäkringen BARA täcker de saker bilen kom med, inget mer. Sedan borde andra försäkringen ta det men TH kanske inte vill driva frågan.
