I've been reading the forum for a while and decided to make an account today because I could use some help in regards to some things about owning a car Sweden in general, and the model 3 specifically.
My Swedish is not that advanced yet so I have opted to write this in English, however, replies in both Swedish and English would be really appreciated! Any information is welcome.
So my wife and I are looking to potentially buy a model 3, and we are doing the math to see if it fits in our budget. For that purpose we need to know what the costs are. So far I have come to the following costs for a model 3 long range AWD.
(car in blue with Dragkrok and vinterdäck amounted to 697,530 sek)
Down payment: 140,000 sek
Parking at our apartment: 350sek/month
Insurance: 1049/month for Helförsäkring (IF) or 549/month for Halvförsäkring. My instinct tells me Helförsäkring is worth it because it is a new car... What do people generally pick for themselves here? It is such a high price. (I am 32, male, license since 2005 and have home insurance with IF too so they gave me a package discount, but I have not checked other companies. In addition the license plate I checked with was a Performance model 3, so it might be slightly lower for the long range. I just figured I'd rather take a higher cost than a lower cost.
Tax for the car: 254/month (3055 per year, 1801-1900kg. I couldn't find a definite number on the Tesla but I read it was in the 1800s, is this correct?)
Car cost with financing: 4 839 kr / month
I used Teslakalkylen to see what the monthly cost would be and it got the number above minus the insurance etc. I also saw there is a 60,000 sek return on a Tesla from the environmental bonus. I am mostly thinking if I am missing specific costs. What is the maintenance like? What about the charging costs on average (not super charging but charging at home. I live in Stockholm)
I would be thankful for anyone able to give some information in regards to the costs of ownership that I am missing above of a tesla model 3. Also tips on where to save some costs would be great
