Hi,
I was thinking of doing a road trip with my son to Legoland. Anyone that did it from Stockholm? Recommendation on the places where is possible/safe to sleep in the car?

We tented there (Legoland holiday village) this past summer. Electricity included in the tent sites!
Bring the blue adapter for those outlets!
Food options at the campgrounds was so so but overall a good stay.

Thanks guys!
Some decent place to stop and sleep in the car along the way if one does not want to drive more than 8 hours?

No Camping, but ParkInn in Malmö is good and includes breakfast. Paid 641kr for one night as "parkinn member", sadly no charging in the garage in the same house.
I think you can save money on the "bropass" if you pay before or do a electronic registration. Denmark and Legoland is expensive

Along the way to Billund from where? There are many places where one can stop, meant for campervans, but some are also suitable for in-car camping.

I have driven Stockholm - Billund many times, the last time was only a few months ago.Pigi71 skrev:Thanks guys!

I would recommmend driving straight to Billund so as to have a full day at Legoland, it is only a 10h drive if you plan ahead and avoid rush hour in Stockholm and Copenhagen.

Re: "Camping mode" Stockholm - Billund
Yes, I started considering that. Done Stockholm-Copenhagen a couple of times and adding 2-3 hours shouldn't be a problem. Especially with Autopilot reducing the stressfth skrev:I have driven Stockholm - Billund many times, the last time was only a few months ago.Pigi71 skrev:Thanks guys!
