Autopilot and HW3

Hi, posting here the questions (and the reply) I had for SC when I booked an appointment. I think could be interesting for many of us.

Question:

"After 36.2.1 the car is adjusting continuously to keep the center of the lane. Before it was more stable in the middle. Moreover, since I have HW2.5, I cannot utilize the improved visualization that came with the update. Is the upgrade to HW3 available?"

Reply from Tesla:

" Hi, We have inspected your concern and confirmed that this is a currently known software issue. As we are unable to resolve this at the moment, no further diagnosis will be carried out. As for the request for HW3, this is not something that could be carried out at the moment. We will reach out to you when this upgrade is available. If you have not heard anything from us in the future, please reach out to us for the request about the upgrade again.
