Winter Wheel/Tyre Storage Solutions

Quick question. I've been driving a Jeep until recently, fitted with Winter tyres which have been on all year round; as an Englishman, we're not used to changing wheels and tyres for the Winter. If we have a couple of centimetres of snow in the UK, everything stops, we close everything, stay at home and complain about the awful weather

Our Model 3 arrives soon and will come with 19" wheels/tyres for Summer use and 18" winter wheels/tyres, for...errr...Winter. My question is, what storage solutions do forum members use? Would you recommend a storage rack or vertical storage stand? I think I prefer the vertical stand but appreciate you have more knowledge/experience of these things in Sweden.

And where would you buy them from? I've seen them at Bauhaus and Biltema. We have a big store room in our garage so there's no problem with where we'll keep the wheels when not on the car.

Interesting. So you're saying NO stand? Would you keep the wheels in tyre bags/covers? I like to look after my cars so anything that keeps them looking like new works for me.

Dry and dark is way better than when they are on the car anyways. Mine just lay flat on top of each other in the corner of my carport. I clean them thoroughly before i put them there and they are ready to go next season.

Four sturdy padded wall mount hooks from Jula here. I've seen quote a few others use the same, as it saves floor space.

I use the hooks for bicycles in the winter, though.
