European demand for BEVs slowed in H1 as Tesla and Volkswagen lost ground to BMW and Chinese OEMs

Tesla’s deceleration
After years of continuous growth, Tesla is starting to show signs of deceleration. Its registrations in Europe fell from 185,200 units in H1 2023, to 161,600 units this year through June. Munoz, added: “This is very similar to what we have seen in the US and there are three reasons behind this. Firstly, we know that any brand cannot maintain growth with a limited product line that is starting to age. Secondly, increasing competition from other brands such as BMW, will undoubtedly impact its registrations, and finally, Tesla’s strategy of price cuts seen in 2023 no longer holds the same effect due to more and more Chinese OEMs offering competitively priced vehicles.”

Ja enligt Veli-Pekka så är det IF Metalls åtgärder som ligger bakom. Fast jag tror inte han skulle uttrycka sig som att det är "fel".

Hur som helst så tror jag att BMW har lyckats med att tillverka bilar som är snabba att ladda, har bra range, har trevlig inredning och är roliga att köra. Man sitter dessutom lågt med ratten nära, vilket för mig som har lång rygg, är den perfekta körpositionen. Gillar vår 100D men hade gärna bytt till en BMW i4. Spännande att se hur deras nya från grunden utveckalde elbilar kommer att bli.

Hur som helst så tror jag att BMW har lyckats med att tillverka bilar som är snabba att ladda, har bra range, har trevlig inredning och är roliga att köra. Man sitter dessutom lågt med ratten nära, vilket för mig som har lång rygg, är den perfekta körpositionen. Gillar vår 100D men hade gärna bytt till en BMW i4. BMW har väl kollektivavtal, så satsa på en sådan.
